Our Surrey dentists provide dental crowns to repair badly damaged teeth, and dental bridges to fill the gaps left by missing teeth.
Contact UsWhat are crowns?
A crown covers or "caps" a tooth that is badly damaged, restoring its shape and strength.
We can use dental crowns to fix teeth that are damaged in such a way that they cannot be fixed by a filling. For instance, a crown can hold a cracked tooth together and prevent the damage from worsening. They can also be used to attach bridges, and to cover badly shaped or discoloured teeth.
What is a bridge?
A bridge is a semi-permanent dental appliance used to replace one or more natural missing teeth. In short, it "bridges" the space between the two teeth on either end of the space.
If left unfilled, the empty space left by missing teeth can cause the surrounding teeth to shift out of their proper positions, resulting in discomfort and an increased risk of tooth decay and gum disease, which can lead to further tooth loss. Fixed bridges enhance the appearance of your smile and improve your ability to chew and speak.
