If you need oral surgery, your dental team at Guildford Heights Dental Centre can help! We provide a selection of oral surgery procedures in-office for your convenience.
Extractions
Dental extractions may be necessary for a number of reasons – extensive decay or fractured teeth that do not allow for restoration, removal of teeth to prevent crowding, or removing wisdom teeth when there isn’t enough room or they are impacted and may cause damage to other teeth.
Gum Surgery
Gum surgery is required in some instances where gum disease has become advanced, when tissue has overgrown a tooth, or when you appear to have a gummy smile.
The procedure in each situation differs but with the help of laser technology you’ll be surprised how quick and pain-free the procedure is and how quickly things heal afterwards.
Dental Implants
Dental implant placement, replacing the missing teeth with titanium posts is also considered a type of dental surgery. » Learn More

Root Canal Therapy
When the pulp becomes infected due to a deep cavity, a fracture that allows bacteria to seep in, or injury due to trauma, it can die. During Root Canal Therapy, the pulp chamber, along with any infected portion of root canal, is cleaned of all diseased pulp and reshaped. Medication may be inserted into the area to fight bacteria.
When specialized care is required, we refer patients to the Endodontic Specialists DMD Endodontics & Microsurgery in Langley and Surrey for root canal therapy and advanced endodontic treatment.
